Applications of Multicore-Fiber Nonuniformly-Spaced Delay Lines in Microwave Photonics

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a flat-top bandpass microwave filter and a fractional Hilbert transformer in a multicore fiber. Both applications operate based on nonuniformly-spaced delay lines, providing equivalent negative tap coefficients by adjusting their time delays.
