Digital Twin-Enabled Optical Network Automation: Power Re-Optimization

Abstract

A digital twin-enabled network automated power optimization method is proposed and experimentally validated in a ring network. Proposed algorithms prevent SNR degradation during re-optimization, while closed-loop operation further improves SNR estimation accuracy.
