Experimental validation of the EGN-model in uncompensated optical links

Abstract

We report the first experimental validation of the EGN-model. Using a PM-QPSK Nyquist-WDM transmission we confirm the enhanced accuracy of the EGN-model comparing maximum reach predictions with those of GN-model.
